Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

French Tip, operated by Lee van Zyl, mobile nail services in Pretoria. Contact details. 

2. Bookings & Deposits

R100 deposit secures the slot, deducted from the total, non-refundable on late cancellation. Booking confirmed only once the deposit reflects. 

3. Cancellation & deposit forfeited.

24h weekdays, 48h weekends. Later than that, deposit forfeited. Reschedules within notice are free.

4. Lateness

20 minutes‘ grace. Beyond that the design may be simplified to finish on time, or the appointment rescheduled with the deposit forfeited.  

5. Travel & service area

Radii and fees. Fees quoted at booking and are non-negotiable on the day. Minimum booking value R250

6. Price & payment

Prices are indicative; final price depends on length and design complexity, quoted before work begins. EFT or cash, in full, on completion.

7. Your workspace

Client provides a firm surface, seating, a plug point, adequate light, safe parking. Lee reserves the right to reschedule if the space is unworkable, with deposit retained.

8. Health & suitability

Client must disclose relevant conditions, allergies, pregnancy, recent nail trauma or infection. Cosmetic services only — no diagnosis or treatment. Right to decline service where conditions makes it unsafe.

9. Aftercare & durability

Aftercare given verbally and in writing. Longevity depends on aftercare, nail condition and lifestyle. 48h guarantee wear period.

10. Repair

R30 per nail plus travel. Repairs at her discretion where the cause is workmanship and a photo has been sent to Lee van Zyl.

11. Photography

Work may be photographed for portfolio and social use. Consent requested before the appointment and may be declined or withdrawn. Photos are just of the work, nothing else.

12. Safe working environment

Appointments in private homes. Children and pets are fine, but the working area must be undisturbed. Lee retains the right to end an appointment where she feels unsafe or is treated inappropriately, with the full fee payable.

13. Limitation of liability

Liability limited to the value of the service, except where law provides otherwise. Reference the Consumer Protection Act.

14. Complaints

Raise within 48h with photographs so it can be assessed and resolved.

15. Changes

Terms may be updated; the version at the time of booking applies.

16. Governing law

Law of the Republic of South Africa.
